Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Wizkid has revealed that he wants fellow musician Asake to perform at his wedding. The Starboy boss made the disclosure during a recent appearance on Apple Music radio alongside DJ Tunez.
Wizkid said that Asake’s hit song “Omo Ope” made him a fan, but “Remember” is his favourite and he would like it performed on his special day. He described Asake as “one of the most talented vocalists in Africa and the world” and a “blessing to African music.”
The singer, who is in a romantic relationship with his third baby mama and manager, Japa P, has three children with her, two boys and a girl. Wizkid has teased his wedding plans for years but has not yet revealed a date.
