Victony drops new EP ‘Very Stubborn,’ solidifying his place in afrobeatsI’m

Rising Afrobeats star Victony has released his latest project, an eight-track EP titled Very Stubborn, on October 21, 2025, further cementing his reputation as one of the genre’s most resilient and creative voices. The EP follows his critically acclaimed debut LP, Stubborn (2024), which reflected the 24-year-old artist’s defiant approach to life and music.

Very Stubborn features singles like “Skido,” featuring hip-hop icon Olamide, and “Tanko,” which includes a guest verse from veteran Street pop star Terry G. The project showcases Victony’s signature Pidgin English storytelling, exploring themes of ambition, individuality, passion, and personal struggles.

Born Anthony Ebuka Victor, Victony has built momentum this year through a series of high-profile collaborations, appearing on Odumodublvck’s hit “Pity This Boy,” Musa Keys’ track on Davido’s Holywater, and BNXN’s “Cough Syrup.”

The new EP reflects Victony’s continued commitment to pushing creative boundaries while maintaining the relatable and expressive style that has won him critical and fan acclaim across the Afrobeats scene.
