Victony admits to enhancing his performances with alcohol, plans to change on tour

Nigerian singer Anthony Ebuka Victor, popularly known as Victony, has opened up about his use of alcohol to boost his stage performances.

The ‘Soweto’ hitmaker told Behind The Prestige that he has never performed on stage without consuming alcohol beforehand.

However, Victony revealed that during his ongoing ‘Stubborn’ tour, he aims to change this habit in order to have a more genuine experience with his fans.

“I’m trying to do this tour so wow. It’s a big challenge. I have never been on stage without taking alcohol. But [for this tour], I’m trying to see my fans clearly and truly connect with them. I just want to try,” he said.
