VeryDarkMan issues apology to Femi Falana regarding Bobrisky’s bribery allegations
On Monday, September 30, social media influencer Martins Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, publicly apologized to prominent human rights lawyer Femi Falana, SAN, concerning recent insinuations he made about Falana’s involvement in bribery allegations stemming from comments by crossdresser Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky.
VeryDarkMan appeared before the House of Representatives Joint Committee on Financial Crimes and Reformatory Institutions, where he expressed his belief that Falana was not implicated in the allegations. “Apparently now, some people are taking advantage of what is going to target Femi Falana,” he remarked.
He added, “Here, I apologise. It’s so sad that his name was inside that audio. I couldn’t believe it as well; that is the part that irritated me more, which I said I refuse to believe that he is a party to something like that.”
This apology follows the release of leaked audio involving Bobrisky that suggested Falana’s connection to the bribery claims, further intensifying the controversy surrounding the issue.
