Popular social media critic and influencer VeryDarkMan extended an invitation to former Big Brother Naija winner Phyna for a date, following her public support during his ongoing legal issues with the Falana family.
The invitation came after Phyna publicly backed VeryDarkMan, leading to a clash with fellow BBNaija alum Vee Iye on social media regarding differing opinions on the legal suit against him.
Expressing gratitude for Phyna’s support, VeryDarkMan announced their date plans in a trending Instagram story: “Yo, after the meeting with the House of Reps, I’m going on a date with Phyna, @unusualphyna. We are doing groundnut soup and starch.”
Earlier in the week, VeryDarkMan shared leaked audio purportedly from crossdresser Bobrisky, which alleged that singer Falz had reached out to Bobrisky during his four-month jail term to discuss obtaining a presidential pardon through his father, Femi Falana.
In response to the leaked audio, both Falz and his father threatened legal action against VeryDarkMan for defamation, escalating the ongoing controversy.
