On Monday, September 9, 2024, American actor Tyrese Gibson expressed his belief that marriage represents “true wealth.”
In a recent episode of the Club Shay Shay podcast, Gibson discussed how successful individuals, such as the renowned couple Beyoncé and Jay-Z, embody this concept.
Gibson remarked, “True wealth is marriage. Jay-Z and Beyoncé understand that. Nobody needs to go home to a vibrator. Nobody needs to be alone. Nobody should be alone. This concept of being alone is bullsh*t!”
He added, “Because most of your favorite female singers who are out here singing these songs are going home to their man, fiancé, or husband… Nobody wants to be alone. Companionship is biblical. Marriage is very important.”
Tyrese Gibson himself has experienced marriage twice. He was married to Norma Mitchell from 2007 to 2009 and later to Samantha Lee from 2017 until their separation in 2020.
