Trump denies writing Epstein birthday note, threatens to sue wall street journal

President Donald Trump has vehemently denied claims made in a Wall Street Journal report alleging he wrote a risqué birthday note to Jeffrey Epstein in 2003, calling the publication “false, malicious, and defamatory” and vowing to take legal action.
The report, published Thursday evening, claims that Ghislaine Maxwell compiled a birthday book for Epstein’s 50th birthday that included messages from several of his friends. Among them, the Journal alleges, was a note from Trump containing typewritten text and a drawing of a naked woman, with a squiggly signature spelling “Donald” resembling pubic hair. The letter was said to end with the message, “Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.”
Trump, in a fiery post on Truth Social, denied ever writing or drawing such a note. “I never wrote a picture in my life. I don’t draw pictures of women. It’s not my language. It’s not my words,” he wrote.
The letter referenced in the Journal’s story was not published or visually verified. Trump says he intends to sue the Wall Street Journal and its parent company, News Corp, over the publication of the story.
The allegation surfaces as scrutiny over public figures’ past associations with Epstein continues. Trump, who has long distanced himself from the disgraced financier, now finds himself once again battling media claims tied to their past relationship.
