Niger Tornadoes head coach Majin Mohammed expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance after they secured a 1-1 draw against Enyimba at the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba on Wednesday, October 16.
In a post-match interview, Mohammed acknowledged the challenge of facing a team of Enyimba’s caliber, noting their experienced players and professional management. “It is not always easy playing against a team of Enyimba’s calibre,” he said.
He emphasized the significance of the match, stating, “Enyimba are the only surviving Nigerian team on the continent, so we knew what we were going to face.”
Reflecting on the team’s preparation, he added, “We prepared adequately for the game, so I am not surprised with the result. In fact, this result is like a win for us.”
