In a candid interview with The Beat 99.9 FM in Lagos, Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage opened up about one of the most expensive gifts she’s ever received — a Range Rover. The car, given to her as a birthday present, was returned because, as Tiwa revealed, she wasn’t feeling the man who gave it to her.
“I once got a Range Rover for my birthday, but I returned it because I wasn’t feeling the guy,” Tiwa confessed. She further explained that she didn’t want to keep the gift, fearing that the man might try to retrieve it if she kept ignoring his calls.
The revelation surprised many, showing that for Tiwa, the gesture wasn’t enough to win her over if there was no genuine connection.
In the same interview, Tiwa also shared an interesting tidbit about her celebrity contacts. She revealed that the most famous person in her phonebook is none other than global superstar Nicki Minaj. The two have previously worked together, and it seems their friendship remains strong.
