President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made some significant changes to his cabinet. In a minor reshuffle, he sacked five ministers, reassigned ten ministers to new portfolios, and appointed seven new ministers pending Senate confirmation.

•⁠ ⁠Lola Ade-John, Minister of Tourism
•⁠ ⁠Tahir Mamman, Minister of Education
•⁠ ⁠Abdullahi Gwarzo, Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development
•⁠ ⁠Jamila Ibrahim, Minister of Youth Development
•⁠ ⁠Dr. Betta Edu, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs (previously suspended)

Newly Appointed Ministers:
•⁠ ⁠Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction
•⁠ ⁠Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi, Minister of Labour and Employment
•⁠ ⁠Bianca Odinaka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Minister of State, Foreign Affairs
•⁠ ⁠Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment
•⁠ ⁠Idi Mukhtar Maiha, Minister of Livestock Development
•⁠ ⁠Rt. Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, Minister of State, Housing and Urban Development

President Tinubu emphasized that these appointments are a call to national service, urging the new ministers to commit to the administration’s vision of irreversible growth for Nigeria
