The ‘Queen to Power Ballards’ to headline Paris 2024 Olympics opening ceremony

Famous Canadian singer Celine Dion, often referred to as the Queen to Power Ballards, is set to perform at the Paris 2024 Olympics amid her well-documented battle with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS).

Other singers to perform are Dua Lipa and Aya Nakamura.

The Olympics will commence on Friday, July 26, and run through August 11, in Paris, France.

The 2024 edition is estimated to have over 600,000 spectators in attendance and will be broadcast to 80 giant screens in public places.

For the first time in history, this year’s opening ceremony, directed by Thomas Jolly, will be held outside an Olympics stadium.

The game is held every four years.

Celine Dion made her first public appearance in recent times at the 2024 Grammy Awards ceremony.
