Kano Pillars have decided to extend the suspension of their technical adviser, Usman Abdallah, for one more game.
Initially, Abdallah was suspended until after the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 27 fixture against Rangers United. However, the suspension has now been extended to include the team’s Matchday 28 match against Kwara United in Ilorin.
Abdallah clarified that the decision was made to ease tensions among the club’s supporters.
He told Complete Sports, “I’ve been told that the suspension has been extended by one more game, which is this weekend’s away match against Kwara United. I was also informed that this decision is aimed at further easing tensions among the supporters’ club.”
This suspension follows an alleged altercation with a section of the Kano Pillars supporters’ club after a 1-1 home draw against El-Kanemi Warriors on Matchday 21.
