Known for his global appeal, Burna Boy’s achievement cements his status as a trailblazer in exporting Nigerian music, making him the only African artist with three albums surpassing 500 million streams.
Ayra Starr claims the second spot, buoyed by her critically acclaimed sophomore album The Year I Turned 21, which features collaborations with Asake, Seyi Vibez, Giveon, Coco Jones, and Brazilian star Anitta. The Grammy-nominated artist had a stellar year, with her album earning both critical and commercial success.
