Vice-President Kashim Shettima has assured that the administration of President Bola Tinubu will continue to recognise the sacrifices of the Nigerian Armed Forces.
Shettima gave the assurance on Saturday in Maiduguri while condoling with the Nigerian Army and the Borno State government over the attack that killed Brigadier-General Oseni Braimah and other officers.
He also pledged sustained operational support and improved welfare for military personnel.
“These men wore the uniform for all of us. They stood to protect our communities, our families, and the future of our children. Their courage reminds us that peace and security often come at a very heavy cost,” he said.
