Seun Kuti disclosed that he discovered this information only a few days ago, suggesting that the tour had a hidden agenda. He claimed that the entire trip was designed to serve the interests of tech billionaire Elon Musk.
Satellite reach and hidden corporate agendas
The singer alleged that Elon Musk sponsored the tour to verify the reach of his satellites across different parts of Africa. He pointed out that the influencer’s visits to “bushy areas” and remote locations were strategic moves to test connectivity.
“You can’t know the deals they’re making behind the scenes,” the singer warned his followers. He argued that while fans saw a cultural promotion, the underlying goal was a “spy job” for the satellite network.
Promoters accused of avoiding the singer
Narrating his personal encounter, Seun Kuti claimed that the tour producers initially reached out to meet him at the Shrine. However, he alleged that they stopped responding to his messages once they arrived in Nigeria.
