Reps change their minds about taking away immunity from the VP and governors

On Thursday, March 27, the House of Representatives decided to undo their earlier decision about a bill that wanted to take away immunity from the Vice President, governors, and deputy governors.
This bill would also have introduced the death penalty, which was another big topic.
The change in decision came after Majority Leader Julius Ihonvbere asked for a motion during the plenary session. The session was led by Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu.
