President Tinubu departs Lagos for Abuja after Eid al-Adha break

President Bola Tinubu has departed Lagos for Abuja following a two-week break during which he celebrated Eid al-Adha in the country’s commercial capital.
He was seen off at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and other senior government officials.
While in Lagos, President Tinubu reportedly received several top dignitaries at his residence and commissioned a number of projects.
Among the visitors were former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose, and Segun Sowunmi, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party and former spokesperson for Atiku Abubakar’s 2023 presidential campaign.
