Premier League releases 2025/26 fixtures: Man United to face Arsenal in explosive opener
The Premier League on Wednesday morning, June 18, released the fixture list for the 2025/2026 season, with a blockbuster clash between Manchester United and Arsenal set to headline the opening weekend.
The Red Devils, coming off a disappointing 15th-place finish last season, will host the Gunners at Old Trafford on Sunday, August 17, as they look to begin their campaign on a stronger note. Arsenal, meanwhile, will be aiming to finally clinch the Premier League title after finishing second for three consecutive seasons.
Reigning champions Liverpool will kick off the season at home against Bournemouth under the Friday night lights at Anfield, while last season’s runners-up Manchester City will travel to face Wolves on Saturday evening.
Other notable opening weekend fixtures include Chelsea vs Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge and Tottenham vs Burnley in north London.
