On Tuesday, March 4, 2025, Omowunmi Aloba, the widow of late singer Mohbad, opened up about the deep pain she feels over the nurse who injected her husband, which she believes contributed to his untimely death. In an emotional interview with Arise Television, she shared her reasons for not being able to forgive the nurse.
Omowunmi expressed her anger and frustration, stating that while the nurse has been out enjoying life, she has been left to grieve and care for their child. “I can’t move freely, and my son has not even experienced the joy of childhood,” she said. She also added that the nurse’s actions have left her feeling isolated and trapped in her grief. “She made me a widow at 24 years old, and she has been acting so nonchalant, living her life as if nothing has happened.”
Despite the nurse’s calm demeanor, Omowunmi made it clear that she does not know if the injection given to her husband was a mistake, but she stated that if they ever meet face to face, “the only thing I will tell her is that she will experience everything she has done to me.”
She also shared that the nurse was introduced to them by Mohbad’s friend, Spending, after his personal nurse was unavailable at the time.
Mohbad, whose death remains shrouded in mystery, passed away on September 12, 2023. The investigation into his death continues, with his body still unburied despite ongoing court hearings and police inquiries.
