Phyno set to bring Phyno fest back to Enugu in 2025

Award-winning rapper Phyno has announced the return of his annual Phyno Fest concert to Enugu in November 2025. The rapper made this disclosure during a visit to Governor Peter Mbah at his office, where he praised the governor’s developmental efforts in the state.
“The state governor is doing an amazing job. Everywhere looks so different, and I’m proud of him,” Phyno told the press outside the governor’s office. He also stated that part of his visit was to inform the governor about plans for the upcoming concert.
Phyno Fest, which is hosted at the 60,000-capacity Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, has become one of Nigeria’s biggest music events, drawing thousands of fans and top-tier Nigerian artists. The rapper, known for his smooth Igbo rap style, has sold out the stadium multiple times.
Since breaking into mainstream music over a decade ago, Phyno has cemented his place as one of Nigeria’s most celebrated rappers. In 2024, he released his album ‘Full Time Job’, featuring Burna Boy, Chimp, ArrDee, Cheque, Flavour, and Fave, among others. The project was widely praised for its fusion of hip-hop and indigenous sounds.
Phyno’s influence extends beyond his music, inspiring a new wave of Eastern rappers, including Jeriq and Aguero Banks, who have also gone on to sell out the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.
With anticipation building for Phyno Fest 2025, fans are eager to see which superstar artists will join the rapper for another electrifying show in Enugu.
