PDP suspends Women Leader in Kogi
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi State has suspended its Women Leader in Ogori Magongo Local Government Area, Mrs. Esther Soje.
A suspension letter, signed by Yusuf Suleiman, Chairman of the Otaru/Opowu Ward, stated that the decision was made in accordance with sections 58(1), 59(2), and 4 of the party’s constitution as amended.
The ward executives cited Soje’s violation of section 58(1) of the party’s constitution as the reason for her indefinite suspension, which took effect on October 12, 2024.
The letter emphasized that the suspension was necessary to prevent any potential disruption to the party and to maintain the fragile peace currently enjoyed in Ogori Magongo LGA.
The suspension letter was also signed by Vice Chairman Yunusa Balogun and Secretary Isaq Adamu
