Pastor Kumuyi attends Trump’s inauguration prayer meeting, prays for wisdom and unity
Pastor William Kumuyi, the General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church, participated in a special prayer meeting ahead of President Donald Trump’s inauguration in the United States. The event was held to seek divine guidance for the incoming president and the church community.
During the meeting, Pastor Kumuyi prayed that God would grant President Trump the wisdom needed to carry out his duties. He also prayed for unity between Trump and the church in America.
“Almighty God, we thank you and bless your name. What a great and glorious God you are. And what a gathering we have this afternoon. We thank you for the church in America,” Kumuyi began.
He continued with a prayer for Trump’s leadership, saying, “Lord, we have come in preparations for the inauguration of Donald Trump tomorrow. We are asking you, grant him wisdom and grant the church the unity, the knowledge, and forthrightness to speak the truth to power.”
Pastor Kumuyi also prayed for a strong connection between the president and the church, hoping it would foster a positive and helpful relationship for both.
“Confirm it, O Lord, and answer the prayer of your people for this nation, America,” Kumuyi concluded, offering his prayer for peace and unity in the nation.
