P. Diddy faces ‘Revenge’ rape allegations linked to Tupac Shakur conflict

Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing allegations of raping a woman as “payback” for suggesting he was involved in Tupac Shakur’s murder.

In a lawsuit filed in California, Ashley Parham claims the music mogul also threatened her with a knife in retaliation for her remarks.

Ms. Parham says she first came to Mr. Combs’ attention in 2018 after meeting one of his friends at a bar. The friend, attempting to impress others, made a video call to Mr. Combs, but Ms. Parham declined to participate, believing the rapper “had something to do with the murder of rapper Tupac Shakur.”

She alleges that Mr. Combs overheard her comment and warned that she would “pay” for it.

A month later, Ms. Parham says the friend invited her to his home, asking for help with his cancer medication. She claims Mr. Combs unexpectedly appeared, approached her with a knife, and threatened to give her a “Glasgow smile” as punishment for her previous comments.

The lawsuit states that Mr. Combs then forcibly raped her using a television remote control, all while telling her that her life was in his hands and she might never be seen again.

According to Ms. Parham, after the initial assault, she was raped by multiple individuals until she lost control over her body. She tried to escape, but was confronted by Mr. Combs, who allegedly offered her money to claim the assault was consensual. She fled to a neighbour’s house as gunshots were reportedly fired in her direction. The neighbours had already called the police after hearing the disturbance.

Ms. Parham says she reported the incident to the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Department, telling authorities that she had been gang raped by Mr. Combs and his associates. However, no further action was taken.

A subsequent hospital visit led to another police report, but she claims this also failed to result in an investigation.

Ms. Parham is now suing Mr. Combs and six others for sexual assault, battery, false imprisonment, abuse, and kidnapping, and is requesting a jury trial.

Reporters have reached out to Mr. Combs’ legal team for comment, and are also seeking responses from the co-defendants.

This case adds to a growing list of allegations against Mr. Combs, with more than a dozen claims of rape, sexual assault, and physical abuse filed in the past year.

Six new cases were filed in New York on Monday, including one accusing Mr. Combs of molesting a 16-year-old boy during a party at his mansion. His lawyers, responding to these cases, have asserted that Mr. Combs “has never sexually assaulted anyone – adult or minor, man or woman,” dismissing the lawsuits as “money grabs” and attempts to gain publicity.

Mr. Combs has not responded directly to Ms. Parham’s accusations, though he has consistently denied all claims of sexual assault. He has also denied any connection to the 1996 drive-by shooting that killed rapper Tupac Shakur in Las Vegas, a case that remains unsolved.

However, last year, former gang member Duane “Keffe D” Davis was charged with Shakur’s murder, with his trial set for March 2025. Davis previously alleged that Mr. Combs had offered him $1 million to carry out the hit.

Currently, Mr. Combs is being held in a New York detention facility, awaiting trial on federal charges of racketeering and sex trafficking.
