Nigerian singer Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman, popularly known as Oxlade, recently shared an interesting insight about his early passion for music, claiming that he started singing before he could even talk.
In an episode of the ’90s Babies’ podcast, Oxlade reflected on his childhood, recounting what his parents told him. “I started singing before I started talking. My parents told me that I started singing before I could even talk,” he explained.
He added, “I sang faster than catching up with talks. That was what my parents told me. I feel like that was where it [my talent] all started from.” This revelation highlights the deep roots of his musical talent, which has continued to flourish throughout his career.
