Onyedika’s departure looms as club Brugge manager confirms interest from multiple clubs

A summer exit for Raphael Onyedika from Club Brugge is increasingly likely, according to manager Nicky Hayen, who confirmed strong interest from several clubs in the Nigerian midfielder.

Hayen revealed that the club has been preparing for Onyedika’s potential departure, stating, “That chance is real. At the end of last season, there was also talk of that. We are working with the players who are there and our homework has been done by now.”

The 23-year-old has attracted offers from an unnamed Saudi club, reportedly worth €20 million, as well as interest from Premier League and Spanish clubs, following an impressive season with Club Brugge, where he scored three goals in 33 league appearances.

Onyedika joined Club Brugge from FC Midtylland in 2021 and has since become a key player for the Belgian Pro League champions.
