Onyedika excited to score first-ever Champions League goal for Club Brugge against Man City

Club Brugge midfielder Raphael Onyedika expressed his delight after scoring his first-ever goal in the UEFA Champions League against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night.
Although Club Brugge lost 3-1 to City, Onyedika’s goal stood as a memorable highlight in an otherwise challenging match. Speaking to Flashcore.com after the game, the Nigerian international shared his excitement: “I don’t know how to put it, but it’s an amazing feeling to score my first goal in City’s stadium. I’m so proud.”
Reflecting on the game, Onyedika acknowledged the difficulties his team faced: “We knew it would be difficult after we got the first goal; we were a bit sloppy. And when we conceded the first goal, they had more momentum and energy, so it was much more difficult for us because of our mistakes.”
Despite the loss, Onyedika’s achievement in scoring on such a prestigious stage remains a personal milestone in his career.
