One-week after arrest, Portable swiftly assumes role as ‘Police Ambassador’
Nigerian singer, Portable has revealed that he is now a police ambassador.
The street singer shared photos of himself laughing and posing with important personalities at a police office.
In the caption, he wrote, “After God na government.”
He added, “police is our friend.”
He also referred to himself as “Omo ijoba (government’s child)” and a “police ambassasor”.
This comes one week after a video of him scaling a fence to evade arrest went viral.
He was eventually arrested on Tuesday, May 14, in the Abule Egba area of Lagos for allegedly refusing to pay the balance of a G-Wagon vehicle he purchased from a car dealer.
The ‘Zazoo Zeh’ crooner was reported to have bought the vehicle worth ₦27 million but paid only ₦13 million, with ₦14 million balance.
