Ogun State Attorney-General urges team to embrace dedication, celebrates hard work
On Tuesday, January 7, 2025, Ogun State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Oluwasina Ogungbade, motivated the Ministry of Justice’s management and staff to increase their dedication and aim for greater achievements in the coming year. This message was delivered during a special prayer session held to welcome the new year at the Ministry’s Conference Hall in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
Ogungbade, represented by the Solicitor General and Permanent Secretary, Olusegun Olaotan, praised the commitment of the Law Officers and staff for their efforts in the previous year. He encouraged everyone to align with the current administration’s goals to ensure further success, emphasizing the importance of devotion to God and diligence in work.
Olaotan also recognized Governor Dapo Abiodun’s contributions in providing a supportive environment and improved welfare for the staff, which has boosted their motivation. He advised the team to foster unity, love, and forgiveness to enhance the work atmosphere and team morale. He also stressed the ongoing need for knowledge acquisition and positive representation of the Ministry.
During the event, Oluyemisi Aruleba, the Assistant Director of Commercial Services, shared insights in her message, ‘Abiding in God’s Presence, the pathway to success in the year 2025.’ She urged the staff to be determined, disciplined, punctual, eager to learn, and humble, noting that these qualities, along with divine wisdom, are key to achieving success and overcoming challenges.
The event’s highlight was the recognition of excellence, where 27 officers were awarded cash prizes for their outstanding dedication and commitment.
In response, awardees Bunmi Ladega and Omowunmi Ogidan expressed gratitude to the Ogun State government and the Ministry for the recognition and promised to enhance their service in the new year.
