Spurs were chasing the game for 90 minutes, and the eventual scoreline could have been more embarrassing for the away side.
Alexander Isak opened the scoring in the 30th minute, and Anthony Gordon doubled the lead in the 32nd minute.
Newcastle continued the routing in the second half, with Isak getting his second goal in the 51st minute and centerback Fabian Schar sealed the 4-0 victory in the 87th Minute.
This win puts Newcastle into 6th place, displacing Manchester United to 7th place.
