Nathan Tella returns to Bayer Leverkusen training ahead of Bundesliga clash

Nathan Tella has made a positive return to training with Bayer Leverkusen as they prepare for their upcoming Bundesliga match against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday.

The 25-year-old Nigerian international had been sidelined with a hip injury after a tough encounter with Bayern Munich two weeks ago, which kept him out of Leverkusen’s 2-0 victory over Holstein Kiel last weekend.

According to BILD, Tella has resumed training with his teammates, although he worked individually toward the end of the session as part of his ongoing recovery.

It remains uncertain whether he will be fit enough to feature in the squad for the clash with Frankfurt, but Tella’s return to the pitch is a promising sign for the Bundesliga champions.

So far this season, Tella has contributed three goals and three assists in 30 appearances across all competitions for Die Werkself.
