Nasarawa United coach questions officiating in stalemate against Niger Tornadoes

On Monday, September 16, Kabiru Dogo, the head coach of Nasarawa United, raised concerns about the officiating in his team’s 0-0 draw against Niger Tornadoes.

Dogo was particularly critical of the referee’s decision to disallow a goal scored by his side during the match.

Despite the contentious decision, Dogo acknowledged the strong performance from both teams. “Congratulations to both teams, at least we shared the points, even though right inside me, I won the game,” Dogo commented to Nasarawa United Media.

He continued, “However, we take it in good faith. Only the referee can explain why he cancelled that goal. He was closer to the ball than me, so, he has the final decision in this circumstance.”

Dogo also expressed confidence in his team’s future prospects, saying, “Generally, both sides played good football this evening. I have a promising side. I believe so much in them, and with time, we will do better.”
