On Monday, November 25, Nigerian gospel film actor and founder of Mount Zion Film Productions, Mike Bamiloye, made a bold claim that many pastors are not enjoying their marriages. In a now-viral post shared on his X handle, Bamiloye spoke out about the challenges faced by pastors in their marital relationships.
He explained that some pastors’ wives manipulate their husbands using their ministries, believing that pastors cannot physically discipline them or easily divorce them. Bamiloye emphasized that this dynamic leads to many pastors merely enduring their marriages rather than truly enjoying them.
“Several women believe that pastors cannot beat them like unbelievers or divorce them at will. They use the man’s calling or ministry to blackmail him,” he wrote. “Several pastors are not enjoying their marriage but enduring it.”
