On Tuesday, September 10, Super Falcons defender Michelle Alozie signed a new two-year contract with the NWSL club Houston Dash.
The contract will begin on January 1, 2025, and includes a mutual option for the 2027 NWSL regular season.
The 27-year-old, who joined the Dash in 2021, has become an integral part of the team. Alozie expressed her excitement about continuing her career with the club.
“Houston will always hold a special place in my heart; this is where I began my professional career and earned so many opportunities to grow on and off the field,” Alozie said on the club’s official website. “I’m optimistic about the future of the organization and want to contribute to this club’s success. I am cognizant of the work ahead and I’m thrilled to be a part of this team for years to come.”
Alozie has made 54 appearances for Houston Dash across all competitions, scoring six goals and providing two assists.
