Maureen Esisi, the estranged wife of Nollywood actor Blossom Chukwujekwu, has firmly denied allegations that she is a lesbian or bisexual. The rumors began circulating after she shared a video of herself kissing another woman at a club last month, which sparked speculation on social media.
In response to these claims, including comments from a well-known blogger, Esisi took to Instagram to clarify her stance, stating, “I’m not lesbian, and not even bisexual.” The 37-year-old entrepreneur challenged anyone with evidence to support the accusations, emphasizing that no such proof exists.
Additionally, she addressed unfounded rumors regarding sexually transmitted diseases linked to claims of anal sex, calling them “baseless.” Esisi asserted that her sexual attraction is exclusively toward men, dismissing the bisexuality rumors as “a Nollywood story.”
She wrote, “Now it is being a lesbian that two women fight for my matter and the men around me are cover-up and I’m a renowned plate licker and I have a video of me stack naked in bed with a woman which was used to blackmail me? I would like to see that video. Please if you have any video of a sort, kindly just go right ahead and post it online sef please you must do. I want to see something.”
Esisi further questioned the logic behind the STD rumors, stating, “Last I checked, didn’t you have to actually have sex with someone to have a ‘Sexually’ transmitted disease? Abi isn’t that why it is called a sexually transmitted disease in the first place????”
She concluded, “I’m not lesbian, I’m not even bisexual, and I have no issues with people who are 000.”
Esisi and Chukwujekwu were married in 2015 but divorced four years later.
