Manchester City appoints Lijnders, French as new coaches

Manchester City have added two new coaches, Pepijn Lijnders and James French, to Pep Guardiola’s first-team coaching staff.
The club announced the appointments on their website on Tuesday.
Lijnders, 42, joins as assistant coach, bringing extensive experience from the Premier League and European football.
French, previously with Liverpool, takes on the role of set-piece coach.
“Pepijn and James have each amassed huge experience working in their individual roles over the past few years.
“Everyone at Manchester City wishes Pepijn and James the very best of luck in their new roles,” the club’s statement read in part.
