Ebuka Songs finally speaks out on leaving Moses Bliss’ record label

On Wednesday, March 5, gospel singer Ebuka Songs opened up for the first time about his decision to leave Moses Bliss’ record label, Spotlite Nation.
Ebuka had signed a three-year contract with the label but left after just 11 months. While Moses Bliss previously mentioned in a December 2024 interview that Ebuka left to pursue his music independently, Ebuka has now explained his reasons.
Speaking on the Open Up podcast, Ebuka shared, “I will always be grateful for Moses Bliss’ role in my life. At that time, I had the anointing and gift, but I didn’t know how to go about it professionally.”
He continued, “I am grateful for the journey I’ve been through, but now, the next step is to focus on my ministry. We are in a good place.”
Ebuka revealed that he had stayed silent about his departure because he didn’t want to stir up any unnecessary discussions. “We all reach a point where we just want to focus on the next phase of our lives, especially because of the assignment God has for me,” he added.
