Kwara United coach demands improvement as team targets top-five finish

Kwara United’s technical adviser, Tunde Sanni, has called for a significant improvement in his team’s performance, expressing that the club should be competing among the top five in the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL).

As of Thursday, December 19, 2024, the Harmony Boys are sitting in 13th place with 20 points, far below their expectations for the season. Sanni believes the team is capable of more, and he is pushing for consistent results as they aim to reclaim their former glory.

“We as a team are trying our best to bring back the glory days to Kwara United,” Sanni stated in a media interview. “We expected ourselves to be better than this performance. We are coming up and down, there must be stability—that’s what we’re praying for. When we are going up, let us continue to climb up and fight with the top five clubs.”

Kwara United will next face Katsina United in their bid to improve their standing in the league.
