Kid Cudi testifies against Diddy, alleges threats and molotov attack in ongoing trial

Rapper Kid Cudi, born Scott Mescudi, has accused Sean “Diddy” Combs of threatening him and orchestrating a Molotov cocktail attack that damaged his Porsche, during his testimony in Combs’ ongoing criminal trial.

The explosive allegations came Thursday as Cudi became the most high-profile witness to take the stand in the case, which could result in a life sentence for Combs if convicted.

Cudi testified that he also believed Combs was involved in a 2011 break-in at his Los Angeles home. He detailed how, after a brief romantic involvement with Combs’ ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, he received a call warning him that Combs and another individual were inside his residence. Upon arrival, Cudi claimed he found security cameras repositioned, family Christmas gifts rifled through, and his dog locked in a bathroom behaving anxiously.

The rapper said he attempted to confront Combs by phone, recalling the conversation: “(Expletive) are you in my house?” to which Combs allegedly responded, “I’m over here waiting for you.” Cudi told the court he reported the incident to police and described his state of mind as ready to fight.

These accusations follow Ventura’s own testimony last week and echo broader claims in a series of civil lawsuits against Combs. However, Combs’ legal team emphasized there is no concrete evidence linking him to either the Molotov attack or the home intrusion.

Combs is currently facing serious charges including racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty and denied all allegations. The trial, which entered its third week before pausing for the Memorial Day weekend, continues to draw national attention as more witnesses are expected to testify in the coming days.
