Jnr Pope: Bodies of make-up artist, camera assistant and sound man recovered
Nollywood filmmaker, Stanley Ontop updates Nigerians on the recovery of three bodies involved in the boat crash that claimed the life of famous actor, Jnr Pope.
Earlier, Ontop took to his Instagram story revealing that the corpses the make-up artist and the light/camera assistant have been found.
However, the corpse of the sound guy was yet to be recovered.
He wrote:
“Two bodies has been found. The makeup Artist and the light/ camera assistant.
Remaining the sound guy. This is a great post for Nollywood.”
Updating on the situation in the wee hours of the day, he noted that the sound engineer’s body has been found.
Junior Pope was confirmed dead on Wednesday night after several attempts to resuscitate him failed. The actor alongside other crew members drowned in the River Niger area on their way back from the set of Another Side of Life, a movie produced by Adanma Luke.
