Jason Wilcox to resign as Southampton Technical Director, joins Manchester United 

Southampton’s Technical Director Jason Wilcox is set to resign from his role at the Championship club, so he’d be free to join Manchester United in the same role, Fabrizio Romano reports.

Manchester United’s interest in Jason Wilcox as Technical Director is well documented, but the fee INEOS, Man United’s owners in charge of football, offered Southampton has been turned down.

This has led Wilcox to resign from his role, so that he will join Man United as Technical Director.

Man United has been searching for a Technical Director since INEOS completed their signing as part owners of the English giant.

Wilcox will likely start work at Man United at the end of this season, so that he’d oversee football transfers for the coming season.
