Gerard has become the eighth housemate evicted from Big Brother Naija Season 11, titled Show Ya Sef.

Host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced the exit on Sunday night, leaving 16 contestants in the house as the show entered its seventh week. Gerard had been nominated for possible eviction in week six. His departure came a week after Goddessa and Sultex left. The edition began with 24 housemates on 26 July.

Reality shows of this kind reduce a large starting group through a mix of nominations, public votes and occasional twists. Eight exits by week seven means a third of the original lineup is already gone. Those who remain have survived at least one nomination cycle or have been protected by immunity, alliances or viewer support. Gerard’s eviction after a week-six nomination follows the usual rhythm: visibility in the vote pool, then a Sunday night result.
