Funke Akindele predicts ‘Everybody Loves Jenifa’ will break records and make N5bn

On Monday, December 9, 2024, Nollywood star Funke Akindele made a bold prediction about her upcoming movie Everybody Loves Jenifa, saying it will earn an incredible N5 billion when it hits cinemas this December.

In a viral video with some of the film’s cast, Akindele shared her excitement and confidence in the movie’s success. “We are making N5 billion this year,” she declared.

If the movie reaches this target, it will break the record set by another of Akindele’s films, A Tribe Called Judah, which became the first Nigerian movie to earn over one billion naira.
