Frank Onyeka begins training with Augsburg
On Friday, September 13, Frank Onyeka began training with his new Augsburg teammates for the first time.
According to DAILY POST, the Nigerian international joined the Bundesliga club on a season-long loan from Brentford on transfer deadline day.
Following his move, Onyeka joined the Nigerian squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda. He returned to Augsburg after the international break on Thursday.
Augsburg announced his first day of training via their X account, stating, “Hello, Frank! ✌️ Our new addition was on the pitch for team training for the first time today!”
The 26-year-old midfielder is expected to make his debut for Augsburg in their upcoming match against St. Pauli this weekend.
