Forget defeat to Tottenham – Amorim urges Manchester United players

Following Manchester United’s disappointing 1-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, manager Ruben Amorim has urged his players to shift their focus and approach every upcoming match with a fresh mindset.

James Maddison’s single goal was enough to secure all three points for Spurs, leaving the Red Devils struggling in 15th place in the Premier League.

In his post-match interview, Amorim admitted it was a tough loss but emphasized the importance of moving forward: “It was hard. When we created chances and don’t score, it is really difficult. Losing games and losing players, they have to change their approach to every game. We need to focus on the next game and forget the past. They will see me with energy to move forward and prepare for the next game.”

Manchester United’s next challenge will be against Everton on Saturday, February 22. The team will be looking to bounce back and improve their standing in the league.
