Former Italy international, Roberto Pruzzo, has advised the AS Roma authorities to sign a winger in the mould of Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman.
Roma is close to completing a move for the versatile central midfielder, Enzo Le Fee, from Ligue 1 club, Stade Rennes.
With the Giallorossi set to pay around €20 million for the player, Pruzzo thinks the money should have been invested in a player who has the same characteristics as Lookman.
“Roma would need a Lookman-style striker, who can take the ball and skip past his man,” Pruzzo was quoted by Romanews.
“The expense of more than 20 million for Le Fée, who might not even start, intrigues me a little.”
Lookman was voted Atalanta’s Player of the Season last term.
The 26-year-old scored a hat-trick in La Dea’s UEFA Europa League final win over Bayer Leverkusen.
