Éric Chelle to field strongest possible Super Eagles squad for historic Russia match

On Monday, April 7, Super Eagles head coach, Éric Chelle, confirmed that he will line up his strongest team for Nigeria’s upcoming international friendly against Russia.

The historic match will take place in Moscow on Friday, June 6, marking the first-ever encounter between Nigeria and Russia at the full international level.

“The core of the team from the matches against Rwanda and Zimbabwe will get another chance to play against Russia in the friendly,” Chelle told SCORENigeria.

In addition to the friendly, the Super Eagles are also scheduled to participate in a four-nation tournament in England in June. Ghana, Jamaica, and Trinidad and Tobago will join Nigeria in the competition.
