Nottingham Forest manager, Nuno Espirito Santo, has confirmed that Taiwo Awoniyi is fit and available for their Premier League clash against Newcastle United this Sunday.
Awoniyi, who missed Forest’s previous match against Fulham due to a head injury, is now ready to make his return to action.
Santo spoke to reporters on Friday, revealing that Awoniyi has passed the concussion protocol, saying: “Yes, yes, it is clear on the concussion protocol. So, he is available. He will have to wear a mask, but he is available.”
Forest will face Eddie Howe’s Newcastle at St. James’ Park on Sunday, looking to build on their recent performances in the league.
