DJ Cuppy prays for last valentine’s day as an unmarried woman

Nigerian disc jockey Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has expressed hope that this year’s Valentine’s Day will be the last she celebrates as a single woman.

The billionaire heiress took to her X handle to share the heartfelt prayer, writing, “Happy #ValentinesDay to me! Manifesting that this is my last one unmarried. Lord, do your thing!”

At 32, DJ Cuppy has had a high-profile love life, with relationships involving former Super Eagles striker Victor Anichebe, music executive Asa Asika, and British boxer Ryan Taylor. While she was engaged to Taylor in 2022, speculation about their split arose in 2023, and she later confirmed she was single again.

Beyond her personal life, DJ Cuppy has built an impressive career in the music industry. She gained recognition as the resident DJ at the 2014 MTV Africa Music Awards in Durban and has since performed at prestigious events such as the Tatler and Christie’s Art Ball in London and the Financial Times Business of Luxury Summit in Mexico City.

She also ventured into music production, releasing House of Cuppy in 2014, where she created EDM-inspired remixes of afropop hits. That same year, she founded Red Velvet Music Group, a London-based music management and content production company.

As DJ Cuppy remains hopeful for love, fans continue to celebrate her achievements in the entertainment industry.
