Dele Odule reveals losing his first child was the saddest moment of his life

Veteran Nollywood actor Dele Odule has opened up about the heartbreaking experience of losing his first child, calling it the saddest moment of his life.

In an emotional interview with fellow actor Kunle Afod on Monday, January 21, 2025, Odule shared the painful story, revealing how difficult it was to cope with the tragedy, especially due to the circumstances surrounding the child’s birth.

The 63-year-old actor explained that despite the deep sorrow, he ultimately accepted the loss as God’s will, though he expressed a sincere wish to never experience such heartache again.

“The saddest moment of my life was when I was called that my first child died. It was very hard on me,” Odule said. “It was hard because of the situation faced during the child’s birth, but no one can question God’s authority. It was so bad that I don’t pray for it anymore.”
