Declan Rice to captain England against Belgium tonight
Arsenal and England midfielder Declan Rice will captain his country tonight, as confirmed by manager Gareth Southgate, when the Three Lions face Belgium in their second international friendly of this break.
Rice will be winning his 50th international cap in the process, and it would be a truly special one for him.
The midfielder played in the 0-1 loss against Brazil on Saturday, March 23.
Rice has the opportunity to captain the side mainly because the team captain Harry Kane is out due to injury, and while Rice is not the vice-captain, it is certain the vice-captain won’t start the game either.
